We welcome EMS vet students to join us at Castle Veterinary Group. Our friendly and professional team are happy to offer EMS students both experience and learning in veterinary medicine and practice.
We are able to offer EMS placements to students from both inside and outside of the UK. We are unable to provide accommodation on-site for students although we have local bed and breakfast hosts nearby who are happy to take our veterinary students. Please let us know if you require somewhere to stay and maybe we can help arrange this for you.
If you would like to enquire about taking an EMS placement here at Castle Veterinary Group, please email our HR & Business Manager Steve Cox at email@example.com to check availability.
Please let us know what stage you are you in your studies and why you want a placement at Castle Veterinary Group.

Words from our previous students…
“Thank you so much for all that you have done for me these past 3 weeks. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent seeing practice with both the farm and fam small animals. I really appreciate how warm and welcoming you have all been to me, and of course helpful – whether it be pointing me in the direction of a farm visit, explaining a case to me or helping me improve my practical skills!”
“I wanted to thank everyone for all you did to make my placement so lovely and enjoyable. I learned so much over the course of my time at your practice and felt so welcomed and comfortable. Thank you again to everyone for taking the time out of your day to help teach me and give me confidence as I move forward with my studies!”
“Thank you so much for such a brilliant couple of weeks of EMS! I’ve learnt so much and have absolutely loved working with the whole team – so thank you!”
“Thank you very much for mentoring me over the past 2 weeks! You have all been wonderful letting me practice my clinical skills and sharing your extensive knowledge with me. I can genuinely say I have loved my time here and have been made to feel like one of the team, so much so that I’m going to try and come back next year!”
